MQ-1 Predator

Die General Atomics MQ-1 Predator ist eine ferngesteuerte Drohne der US-Luftwaffe. Die seit 1995 eingesetzte Maschine gilt als erster Vertreter der sogenannten UAVs (Unmanned Air Vehicle) und ist inzwischen der wichtigste Bestandteil der taktischen Luftraumaufklärung der US-Streitkräfte.

MQ-9 Reaper

Die MQ-9 Reaper (dt. Mäher, Sensenmann) ist eine Drohne des US-amerikanischen Herstellers General Atomics. Sie basiert auf der MQ-1 Predator, ist aber wesentlich größer und dient in erster Linie der Luftnahunterstützung. Sie wird unter anderem von den Streitkräften der Vereinigten Staaten und der Royal Air Force in Afghanistan eingesetzt...
Die typische Bewaffnung dafür besteht aus zwei lasergelenkten 500-Pfund-Bomben des Typs GBU-12 Paveway II und vier lasergelenkten Luft-Boden-Raketen AGM-114 Hellfire.

Northrop Grumman entwickelte die Fire Scout, um der US-Navy und dem US-Marine Corps zusätzliche Aufklärungs- und Angriffsfähigkeiten zu verleihen.
